Staff Systems Engineer

The Staff Systems Engineer is responsible for leading a team of engineers designing, building, and supporting The Home Depot's technical infrastructure of hardware and system software that drives the success of Home Depot and our customers. As a Staff Systems Engineer you will be part of a dynamic team with engineers of all experience levels who help each other build and grow technical and leadership skills while creating, deploying, and supporting production infrastructure.

Experience in z/OS ISPF, JCL, JES2, etc. Experience in z/OS DB2 administration, working with DDL, DML, DCL, DB2 commands, and SQL. Experience in the DB2 Utilities (i.e., COPY, QUIESCE, REPAIR, REORG, LOAD, etc.) Understand RACF Security Experience in DB2 SQL and Q Replication. REXX development language knowledge to simplify/automate database administration activities. Broadcom Detector and Subsystem Analyzer experience. DB2 for z/OS v12+ experience. Endevor experience. On-call rotation.
