Mainframe Developer with Payments

Mainframe Developer with Payments domain expertise to design, develop, enhance, and support mission-critical payment applications. The ideal candidate should have strong mainframe development skills and hands-on experience with payment processing systems, including ACH, Wire Transfers, SWIFT, Real-Time Payments (RTP), and ISO 20022 messaging standards. Experience: Minimum 10 years

Roles & Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM. • Analyze business and technical requirements and develop scalable solutions. • Perform application enhancements, troubleshooting, and production support. • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. • Optimize application performance and resolve production issues. • Develop and support payment processing applications for ACH, Wire, SWIFT, RTP, SEPA, or ISO 20022 payment flows. • Work closely with business teams to implement payment regulations and compliance requirements. • Support payment investigations, reconciliation, exception handling, and settlement processes. • Participate in payment modernization and migration initiatives. • Strong experience in: COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, TSO/ISPF, File Processing & Batch Scheduling • Experience with Endevor, Changeman, ISPW, or similar source control tools. • Knowledge of MQ Series, FTP, and API integrations. • Experience with production support and incident management.

Salary Range- $95,000-$130,000 a year
