Job Description
Work Location: IOI City, Putrajaya Work Arrangement: Fully onsite, Monday to Friday (5 days a week)
We are looking for a COBOL Developer to support application development, enhancement, and production support activities within a mainframe environment. The role involves improving system configurations, developing new features, and ensuring application stability and performance.
Support business operations by enhancing system configurations and developing new features for COBOL / mainframe applications Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot system or production issues; identify root causes and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence
Requirements & Skills
Senior: More than 6 years of development experience; strong understanding of development processes and prior experience as a technical lead Proven experience as a COBOL Developer or in a similar role Strong understanding of mainframe technologies and environments (batch and online processing) Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and TSO Understanding of legacy system modernization techniques Familiarity with IBM RTC tools is a plus Basic knowledge of SQL
