Job Title : Senior/SME - Mainframe Storage Administrator

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Storage Administrator with 10+ years of hands-on experience in installing, upgrading, administering, tuning, and supporting IBM Storage environments on z/OS. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, stability, security, and performance of mission-critical Storage systems supporting 24x7 business applications.

## Key Responsibilities - Planning software system upgrades and changes - Have Knowledge in DASD, Tape, DFHSM, DFRMM, DFSMS, ISMF - FDRABR - Experience on CA products, CA-Vantage, CA-1, CA DISK - Catalog tools. - Performing DISK Migration - Performing Tape migration - backup / Restore using different utilities and tools. - initializing volumes - D/R tests - Good knowledge on SMS classes and ACS routines - Space management - Availability management - Performance problems - Full management of sandboxes - Snow, ITIL process -incident, change, request handling - Knowledge on OPC - Handling Space and hardware issues.

- Programming: REXX, JCL - z/OS knowledge, skills, routines

- Review, analyze, and resolve problems. - Apply problem-solving skills sufficient to independently perform fault isolation and initiate corrective action. - Ability to spot unresolved software anomalies and report to the team leader and the appropriate vendor. - SDSF - JCL Utilities - Sysview - Participate in transition projects for new customers
