Required technical and professional expertise

• Mainframe Modernization Expertise: Experience with fundamental concepts and technologies related to both mainframe systems and modernization, including in-place mainframe modernization and migration of mainframe applications to cloud platforms. • Multi-Technology Proficiency: Experience with various technologies such as COBOL systems, Java, JSON, API, Microservices, SaaS, Edge, and Off-premises applications, with the ability to develop high-quality code for mainframe modernization projects. • Cloud Migration Support: Experience supporting mainframe migration to cloud environments, including z-cloud and other cloud platforms. • Network Security Implementation: Experience implementing and maintaining network security measures to protect mainframe applications and data during modernization and migration processes. • DevOps Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps practices and tools, such as Kubernetes, to ensure smooth deployment and operation of modernized applications.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Edge Technology Knowledge: Experience with Edge technology, enabling the development of modernized mainframe applications that can efficiently operate in edge environments. • Off-Premises Application Expertise: Experience working with off-premises applications, allowing for seamless integration and deployment of modernized mainframe applications in various settings. • Microservices Architecture Understanding: Experience with microservices architecture, facilitating the design and implementation of scalable and flexible modernized mainframe applications.
