Application Operations Specialist

Join Deutsche Bank's Application Operations team in Spain, supporting business-critical applications in a regulated banking environment. The role focuses on ensuring stable, secure and efficient day-to-day application operations while collaborating closely with technology and business teams.

— Provide Level 2 application technical support to ensure availability, stability and performance of critical systems. — Operate and support applications across Mainframe environments. — Monitor applications using observability tools and proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve incidents and recurring issues. — Support change, release and incident management processes in line with internal controls and regulatory requirements. — Take ownership of specific application areas or processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

— Hands-on experience in application operations, systems administration or production support in complex technical environments. — Have a deep background on mainframe systems including CICS, JCL, COBOL and DB2. — Have experience working with OPC, EDITRAN, Omegamon and other IBM tools. — Demonstrable experience in working with zOS IBM environment. — Proficient in English for written and spoken business communication, with Spanish for local collaboration.
