Position Description: Conducts research, optimizes processes, develops systems, authors solutions, studies user stories, and writes specifications for complex software systems. Performs analysis of the legacy applications of , .net, Java, and facilitates modernization from legacy to cloud systems. Provides technical support to the platform and systems, with a focus on financial domain. Researches high volume of data in SQL server, , Oracle and Postgres, and analyzes data using logging tools. Collects business requirements and distills them into well-defined requirements. Partners with technology teams in formulating software design and solutions, and system architecture in an Agile environment.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Systems Analyst (or closely related occupation) performing systems and data analysis in a financial services and banking domain. Or, alternatively, Master's degree and three (3) years of equivalent experience.

Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrated Expertise extracting, transforming, and loading data using Oracle, SQL Server, Mainframe DB2 or Snowflake; analyzing complex data sets using SQL and Tableau. Analyzing mainframe systems (Cobol, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS); and performing end-to-end service modernization by migrating to a distributed technology architecture using AWS or Azure.
