Senior Infrastructure Services Specialist (Mainframe)

What's the role? Support Westpac's complex mainframe environment, with a focus on performance and capacity planning. You'll provide technical expertise, investigate complex incidents, evaluate infrastructure changes and help ensure mainframe services are reliable and fit for purpose. Working with internal teams, partners and vendors, you'll contribute to service improvements, technical designs, recovery planning and the ongoing development of mainframe infrastructure solutions.

Strong knowledge of IBM Z Systems and mainframe operations. Experience with mainframe performance analysis and capacity planning. Knowledge of mainframe technologies such as z/OS, IMS, CICS and DB2. Strong analysis, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate clearly and build effective relationships with internal teams, partners and vendors
