Mandatory Skills:
Strong knowledge of Mainframe IMS DBA, including database design, administration, and performance tuning.
Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and other mainframe programming languages.
Experience with mainframe tools and utilities for database management.
Solid understanding of data modeling and database architecture.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with other mainframe technologies such as CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of performance monitoring tools and techniques.
Understanding of cloud technologies and their integration with mainframe systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in mainframe technologies or database administration are a plus.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
