Senior Analyst

Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, IMS DB/DC, Assembler and CICS with Mainframe tools and utilities. Also, able to embrace new approaches with DevOps in mainframe environments and technology stack, esp. cloud native with java/python. Develop and execute unit tests and integration plans to ensure application changes meet technical specifications. Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of mainframe applications. Maintain detailed documentation of code, processes, and solutions. Identify and implement performance improvements and optimizations. Able to use modern Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) like Visual Studio Code (VS Code) with extensions like Explorer for Endevor, Amazon Q, DevX, Zowe etc. to enhance developer productivity. Able to use / implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to enable faster and more reliable software releases. Embrace Git for source code management in addition to Endevor to facilitate better teamwork and code version control.

3 to 8 years of experience required to be considered for this position.
