Need a copy of MY.SOURCE(PROG1) as PROG1BK. Is there a copy command or do I CUT/PASTE in edit?

From the member list you can use C / COPY line commands, or go into the member and SAVE AS / CREATE depending on your ISPF level.
3.3 Utility is the old reliable copy/move panel if you get lost. Do not stay in edit cut/paste for whole members.
