Need a PDS for my practice COBOL. Someone said 3.2. I got to a panel and froze. What fields matter?

Option 3.2, choose Allocate. Dataset name like YOURID.COBOL.SOURCE. For a PDS set Directory blocks > 0 (say 20). RECFM=FB LRECL=80 for source. SPACE in tracks is fine for practice.
If SMS is in play, the panel may ask for DATACLAS instead of unit. Follow whatever your training ID sheet says.
