What does Easytrieve A014 actually mean?

Job ends with A014 PREMATURE TERMINATION DUE TO PREVIOUS ERROR(S). That is the only message I noticed at first.

Is A014 the real problem or just a summary?

Summary. Scroll up. Something earlier in the same run failed (A010, missing DD, bad DEFINE, whatever). A014 just means "I already told you, now I am stopping."

Previous run errors do not count. Same SYSOUT only.

Found an A010 twenty lines above. Searching for A014 first was a waste of an afternoon.
